Removes cranks in which the extractor threads have been stripped. Rather than wasting time and money re-threading and installing a repair insert, remove the crank, which is often scrapped anyway. It uses two “pilot” threads, followed by oversized threads which fit very tightly in the “remaining” threads. Made of heat-treated 4140 Cro-Mo tool steel.
