We designed the original Field Unit Workstand to be the ultimate portable repair stand: rock-solid, reliable, and packed with professional-level functionality without sacrificing performance just to save a couple of pounds. The Field Unit Comp brings that same philosophy to a more accessible price point, with a lighter-duty design that’s ideal for mechanics, race teams on the go, frame builders and at-home do-it-yourselfers.

At the heart of the stand is a Japanese-made version of EVT’s legendary Right Arm Repair Clamp. Its unique offset design and balanced rotation are key reasons EVT has become a trusted name in high-end bike shops around the world.

The Right Arm Clamp requires just two inches of exposed seat-post and features a smooth, counterweighted handle that lets you gently secure your seat-post with exceptional pressure control. 

The Field Unit Comp uses light, aluminum tubing to keep weight and cost down while still delivering impressive stability. And because it’s built by Minoura, you get the precise fit and finish you’d expect from Japanese manufacturing—without the loose, clunky feel common in less expensive repair stands.
